The Indian debacle and the Australian run mojo

While we haven't posted predictions for the Ind v SL match and the Aus v RSA match (for various reasons), we did send them over to DNA as always. So we'll request you to :
a) take our word for it

OR

b) look up the respective editions of DNA,
when we say that we predicted victory for Sri Lanka (correctly) and South Africa (wrongly).

A score of 40-60 was correctly predicted for Dravid, as was a failure for Sachin and Sourav.
A low score was predicted for Sehwag but he went on to score 48.
Over-all, good predictions, though not necessarily pleasing to the Indian cricket fan (that includes us).
With South Africa we bungled big time and we've started looking into the matter(though their victory seemed possible when they were 165/0). The problem should be sorted out before they play their next match.

We'll come out with predictions for the WI v AUS match tonight. We'll however hope that any delay is excused, since we aren't done yet brooding over India's exit from the tournament.

And yes, we'll all hope (as will you) that Indian cricket gets a much needed revamp as soon as possible.
