Review, WI vs NZ, 29 Mar 2007

Whats this! It seems we have done pretty well this time around.

Yesterday's post:

"Winner: New Zealand
Individual Scores:
Gayle: Expect a 50+ score
Chanderpaul: Will make a big hundred if he goes over 15-20 runs.
Sarwan:25-35
Stephen Fleming: Most likely score <20.Will, however, score a 50 if he crosses that.
Styris: 50+"

Lets see what the actual results were like:

Winner: New Zealand

Individual Scores:
Gayle: 44
Chanderpaul: 4
Sarwan:19
Stephen Fleming:45
Styris: 80

There! These people don't seem to like converting 40s to 50s. That would've made us look so much better. But otherwise, the little tweaking we did with the model seemed to have worked.

We'll give ourselves a li'l pat on the back for this one. (We badly need it, with the general interest levels in the team plunging after India's ouster)

WI vs NZ

There's been too much cricket over the last 3 days, with the Aus Vs WI match going into the reserve day. So, with a kind heart, please excuse the delay in today's predictions. We've taken out what little time we could from a scarily busy schedule, and have come out with a few predictions for the match.

Winner: New Zealand

Individual Scores:
Gayle: Expect a 50+ score
Chanderpaul: Will make a big hundred if he goes over 15-20 runs.
Sarwan:25-35
Stephen Fleming: Most likely score <20. Will, however, score a 50 if he crosses that.
Styris: 50+

You'll notice that we keep changing the way we present individual predictions. The plain and simple reason is that we wish to make the best use of the model and tell you everything it has to say. As always, suggestions are welcome.
